Testimonials 💌
“Izzy has created such a beautiful, unique space with her practice that always makes you feel welcome and held. Her classes are like a warm hug at the end of a stressful day.
I have learnt so much about my body and mind in these classes which I carry with me in my day to day life. From stretches I’ve incorporated throughout my day to different breathing exercises I apply in times of anxiety or when I’m struggling to sleep.
If you are looking to reconnect with your body, exercises to help ease anxiety or simply a space where rest is encouraged among your busy routine then I wholeheartedly recommend Izzy’s classes.”

I had the most beautiful, comforting, soothing yin yoga session at Izzy’s Cocoon retreat.
I am a beginner to yoga really, and I felt so comfortable. She is just magic. If you’re feeling stressed, anxious, overworked, busy, you’ll be well guided and looked after here.
Went home and had the best sleep of my life. Thank you Izzy for providing this much needed space to heal.

Izzy genuinely is the most beautiful little safe space in Nottingham. T
he classes are so insightful and uplifting but are also very peaceful moments of rest where everyone is welcomed, Izzy goes above and beyond to be mindful of consent and safe boundaries in practice so her classes are perfect for all types of bodies and minds 💕 I couldn't recommend them enough ☀️

“The space that Izzy crafts for us with so much care feels safe, welcoming, warm, and the whole experience oozes with acceptance, joy and sisterhood… We leave full of love for each other and, most importantly, ourselves and our bodies.
Everyone deserves this time to celebrate themselves and Izzy is a skilled facilitator in this process, gently guiding us through our nerves and doubts, offering reassurance and tenderness where we need it most. As always, thank you Izzy!”

FAQs

Although some people join classes with a friend or family member, most participants usually join classes alone.
So if you’re thinking of joining alone, you will be in good company, surrounded by like minded humans, who are probably attending for similar reasons to you.
These classes are the perfect space to connect, meet new people and build community. There is always the option to stay behind for a cuppa/coffee in the cafe and a chat.
Equally, they also allow space for solitude, if you’re feeling a little more introverted and are simply needing some time for yourself.

There is no experience of yoga or somatics needed for these retreats.
The practices are gentle, accessible and can be adapted to all bodies.
Simply show up and you will be held and guided every step of the way.
